The visit to the Guadalhorce, Malaga on Thursday 10 January produced four individual Short-eared Owls and it was a pleasure and a privilege to see the birds both resting and flying as they sought out their evening meal. What a special treat for all who witnessed the show.

I trust that you enjoyed looking at the photographs as much as I did enjoying the real thing and more.
Really nice observation!
ReplyDeleteIn Fuseta (8km from Olhão), in the last months we had several observations of Asio flammeus on salt-pans!
My first observation of this specie was on 2011.
