What's the point of going all the way to Tarifa to see a small number of very high Honey Buzzards when Friends Derek and Barbara Etherton can sit on their relatively local terrace and watch hundreds of Honey Buzzards rise up from the local valley near Malaga airport and then slowly drift past? When
it stopped raining went down to the river to see the new Guadalhorce
wetlands! Wow they don't take long, Greenshanks a plenty feeding in the
new waters. At 5pm a mass of Honey Buzzards flew over ahead of the next
storm. We counted 450+ in 30 mins!
