The active life of a Short-eared Owl

The visit to the Guadalhorce, Malaga on Thursday 10 January produced four individual Short-eared Owls and it was a pleasure and a privilege to see the birds both resting and flying as they sought out their evening meal.  What a special treat for all who witnessed the show.

Which way to go?

I think we'll start off to the left. (Your right!)

"This is busy, busy.  I need a rest!"

Here we go again.

"Well that was fun and kept all those birders happy.  Shame they've got nothing better to do!"
