Not so much the hundreds, possibly thousands, of Gannets, Kittiwakes, Guillemots and Razorbills at Bempton Cliffs during our visit, it was the gliding, diving, resting, brooding Gannets that continually took one's attention. They seemed to be everywhere both along the cliffs themselves and on any suitable outcrop, whether alone, in small groups or by the hundred or more.
